The application effectively plots sighting data as lines of position, combining multiple observations into a dynamic running fix. The estimated position is then displayed on a latitude and longitude grid for easy reference. Additionally, the system supports traditional navigation methods by allowing the use of a sextant, complemented by an integrated almanac and plotting tools to enhance accuracy and reliability.
